I'm Bengt Benson. I have worked with payments for more than 30 years – much of it in parking and public transport, with payment and ticketing systems for web, apps and unattended machines. In 2020 I founded Benson Pay Tech AB.
Today I combine consulting with a part-time role as software system architect and PCI expert in card issuing at a Swedish bank. My consulting work is centered on payment terminal and fiscal integrations for point-of-sale systems – from the first line of code to certified releases running in stores.
Alongside the technical work, I have a background in management, board work and politics, which helps me see the whole picture: business, security, regulation and the people involved.
